What I DID do this week

I had a nice list of hopeful activities planned for past 2 weeks that included writing letters, scrapbooking some more, and finishing a few sewing projects. I didn't really get to those, but besides running, doing Boot Camp class, eating & sleeping I...

1. Made some bad bread.

2. Made some not-so bad bread. (One has way too much flour and sesame seeds, the other has way not enough flour, still too many bitter sesame seeds).

3. Made Popsicles.

1 box of strawberries

1/2 cup plain yogurt
scant 1/4 cup sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

1/2 pinch salt
Blend.

At this point you could add rum & drink it (I think?), or put it in popsicle molds... or ice cube trays with grape-anchored toothpicks! They're goo-ood! Especially on those 100 degree days.

4. Altered an old hand-me-down cycling jersey into a shirt.

Now, supposedly it's 'vintage' eighties, according to
this guy.

5. Played with our new Panasonic camera.
It's a cool camera because its megapixels can tolerate cropping, and it can zoom very well. Also it has manual capabilities. We're rewarded for re-learning how to operate aperture & shutter speed by being able to take bigger, better-quality pictures. That's our goal!
